I've been working on this idea for a while. I enjoy wine, talking to people about wine, visiting wineries, talking to winemakers and other staff about the winemaking process, and pretty much anything else to do with wine. I live in the San Francisco Bay area and frequent the Napa and Sonoma valley areas to enjoy some amazing wines.
Over the years, I discovered some amazing wineries closer to home - namely in the Santa Cruz Mountain areas, South San Jose, Gilroy, Morgan Hill, Watsonville, and Monterrey county. These are usually smaller wineries but put out a great product. I wanted to share these discoveries with the world, and with that was born the idea of starting a wine tourism company. This website is all about the company - Spot Me Some Wine.
However, starting a company is no joke. There is so much involved that has nothing to do with your actual product - wine tours, in my case. I plan to document my trials and tribulations of starting my company in this blog. I hope some of you can relate, and maybe use my experiences as a guide. I also hope that I can learn from your comments and advice. So with this post, I'm kicking off the blog. Thanks for visiting, and be sure to come back often to enjoy the latest update, and to add your comments. I will be reading them personally.
Here we go...
